Line an 8 or 9 inch square pan with aluminum foil, butter generously.

melt chips in double boiler or microwave, stir in frosting. Stir in finely chopped nuts, if desired. Pour into foil lined pan. Cool until hardened. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store in airtight container.

NOTE- This is another easy Christmas candy recipe. If I have all the ingredients out, I can make lots of 123 recipes in one afternoon. Lining the pan with foil makes it easy to remove from pan before cutting into small pieces. This year I did White/White and added walnuts and candied cherries.
