     Aunt Myrl's Three Bean Salad

1 (16-oz) can cut green beans, drained
1 (16-oz) can cut wax beans, drained
1 (16-oz) can red kidney beans, drained
1/2 cup diced bell pepper
4 to 5 green onions, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup vinegar
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp olive oil

In a large bowl combine the beans, bell pepper, and onion. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and allow to stand for a few minutes.
Add the sugar, and let the mixture stand for a few more minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients, toss until well mixed, and chill for several hours or overnight.
Serves 6
