     Ham and Asparagus Roll Ups

Ingredients
1 can crescent rolls
4 thin slices ham, but in half (can use lunch meat)
1 can asparagus spears
2 tbs butter or margarine
2 tbs flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1/4 tsp pepper
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 375. Separate dough into 8 triangles. Top each triangle with a slice of ham. Evenly distribute asparagus spears onto the wide end of each triangle, on top of the ham. Roll up starting at the shortest side of the rectangle and rolling to the opposite point. Place crescents on baking stone or greased cookie sheet and bake for 16-20 minutes.
In a small saucepan, melt margarine. Pour flour and a small amount of milk into a sealed tupperware container and shake until combined. Stir flour milk mixture into butter and cook over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in remaining milk and cook until thick and bubbly, stirring constantly. Ass cheese and pepper, stirring until cheese melts. Serve sauce with roll-ups.
