Combine ingredients in bowl of ice cream maker until mixture reaches desired consistency. The colder the ingredients before combining, the better result.
To make simple syrup, combine equal parts water and sugar in saucepan. Boil without stirring until sugar dissolves completely. Cool completely before using.
Freeze leftovers. Microwave leftovers briefly to soften before serving.
