Place steak in pottom of crockpot. Cover with sliced onions, Mushrooms, 1/2 can of tomatoes. In remaining can of tomatoes, combine molasses, soy, salt and pepper. Pour over ingredients in crockpot.
Cook on LOW for up to 8 hours. After 7 hours, combine 1/4 cup of the gravy with cornstarch until smooth. Return to crock and continue cooking for another 30 minutes. Serve over rice or pasta..
