     Salisbury Steak

Ingredients
1 lb. ground chuck
2 slices bread, crumbled
1/2 cup milk
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 can mushrooms; drained
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 pkgs. dry brown gravy mix
 

Instructions
Mix together the beef, bread, milk and seasonings. Form into 4 to 6 patties.
Fry in a skillet (electric skillet works well); drain. Remove from pan.
Make the gravy according to package directions in the skillet.
Add mushrooms, onions and the meat patties; simmer for 10-15 mins. Serve with mashed potatoes and a vegetable or salad
