Combine the crumbs and mealie meal in a flat dish. Whisk the egg
into a bowl.

|
Dip the wedges into the egg and then roll in the crumbs. Arrange
on a sheet and chill for 20 minutes.

|
Heat some oil and fry the wedges for a few seconds until they just
begin to brown.
