2 - 28oz cans of Dei Fratelli all-purpose Italian Sauce
|
|
1 - 15 oz can of Contadina Italian Sauce with herbs
|
|
1 small can of Contadina tomato paste
|
|
2 cloves of garlic
|
|
1 small onion
|
|
1-1/2 Tablespoons of dried basil
|
|
1 Tablespoon of granulated sugar
|
|
1 carrot peeled, whole
|
|
Salt & pepper to taste
|
|
|

1 lb. of hamburger
|
|
1/2 - 10oz package of frozen spinach, thawed and drained
|
|

Instructions |

|
Chop onion and garlic and brown in skillet with a little olive oil. Once onion and garlic are translucent, add hamburger and brown. Drain when cooked.

Combine all sauces, dry spices, sugar and the whole carrot in a large sauce pan. Add hamburger mixture. Add spinach. Simmer for about an hour.

|
Cook pasta of your choice, drain and add to your sauce.
|
