Preheat oven to 350, line cupcake pans with liners or
grease. In mixing bowl combine cake flour, powder,
and salt. Add butter to bowl of electric mixer with
paddle attachement. Scrape bean into butter and mix
on medium-high speed for 3 minutes until fluffy and
light colored. Scrape down bowl and beat another
Add sugar to butter mixture 1/4 c at a time, beating
for a minute after each addition. Add eggs one at a
time until incorporated, scraping bowl after each
addition. Combine buttermilk an extract in measuring
cup. With mixer on low speed alternate adding
dry/wet ingredients, mixing until just incorporated and
starting/ending with dry ingredients. Scrape down
sides and mix for 15 final seconds.
Divide batter among liners and bake for 17-20 minutes.
