     Pecan praline pie

Ingredients
1 unbaked pie shell - 9 inch
3 eggs
1 lb. light brown sugar
1/4 c melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cup oecans (1 c coaarsely cut & 1 c, of halves)
 

Instructions
Beat eggs slightly; add brown sugar gradually, beating well.
Add melted butter and mix well.
Add salt and vanilla and blend well. Sprinkle the coarsely cut pecans over the bottom of the pie shell. Cover with the sugar mixture.
Cover the top with the pecan halves. Bake in a moderate over (350) for 40 minutes or Reduce heat to 250 and bake until firm, about 15 to 20 minutes more until firmly set.
