     Easy cornbread

Ingredients
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup unbleached flour
1/4 c sugar ( I don't use)
2 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup margarine
 
Can use a regular white flour and low fat milk
Instructions
Heat oven to 450
Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients and beat until smooth
Pour into a well greased loaf pan and bake about an hour or until done.
