     Apple Walnut Cinnamon Roll (Cupcakes)

Cinnamon Roll Ingredients
2 c milk
1 tbsp dry active yeast
1/3 c sugar
2 tsp salt
6 c all purpose flour, divided
2 eggs
1/4 c butter, room temp
Filling Ingredients
1/2 c butter, melted
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
3 tbsp cinnamon
1 c toasted chopped walnuts
1 c finely chopped tart apples

Heat milk in microwave and add sugar and yeast to dissolve. After it puffs a bit add 2 cups flour and the salt and beat for 2 full minutes. Add softened butter and eggs and beat until well combined. Add the rest of the flour half cup at a time and beat after each addition.
Remove dough from bowl and place on a floured surface. Knead for 5 minutes until it becomes soft and elastic. Put in large greased bowl and let rise 40 minutes until doubled. Turn out dough onto counter and roll out into 1/4 inch thick rectangle. Brush with half the melted butter.
To make filling combine sugars, cinnamon, nuts, and apples in large bowl. Spread this mixture over dough leaving a 1 inch border. Carefully roll dough into a log. Cut into 24 pieces and place on greased cookie sheet, OR place into lined muffin tin. Cover and let rise again for 40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350. Brush remaining butter across top of rolls and bake for 20 minutes. Glaze.
