Mix the remaining ingredients except for the tomatoes and saurkraut. Put equal portions of the meat ixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Fold 2 sides to the middle and then the other two.
Using a heavy pan, such as a roaster lightly coat the bottom of the pan with tomatoes. Lay cabbage rolls side by side in pan, layer with saurkraut, pour tomatoes over the top. Add about a quart of water, cover and bage at 350 for about 1 1/2 hours.
If increasing the recipe, cabbage rolls may be stacked on top of each other.
