     German Kuchen

Ingredients
3 cups hot water
1cup sugar
3 beaten eggs
2 tablespoons yeast
10 3/4c flour
1c crisco
1 tablespoon salt
1 tsp valilla 1/2c luke warm water
 
Custard Filling
4 cups cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
4 beaten eggs

Instructions
Pour hot water over crisco until melted. Add sugar, and salt and let stand until lukewarm. Add eggs, vanilla and yeast which was soaked in luke warm water. Add flour and let rise.
Custard Cook custard ingredients until thick and cool.
Roll out the dough thin, and place in a pie pan. Sprinkle with th fruit of your choice and 1 tablespoon sugar. Put about 1/3c of custard filling on top, sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
