Combine lentils, eggs and salt in food processor and puree until the consistency of loose but textured hummus
Pour into bowl and add chopped onion.
Add bread crumbs; stir and let sit for a few minutes to absorb some moisture
Form in 12 patties, 1/2 inch thich each, addinr more bread crumbs if they're not firm enough.
To cook, heat oil in skillet and brown for 7-10 minutes. Serve on whole-grain buns with favorite burger toppings
