     Apricot Almond Bars

Ingredients
Crust-
1 pkg, Supreme yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
Filling-
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
4 eggs
2 cups finely, sliced/chopped apricots
 
1 cup sliced almonds
Glaze-
1/2 cups melted apricot jam

Instructions
Heat oven to 350 degrees In large bowl combine crust ingredients, beat at low speed until mixture is crumbly. Press the crust into the pan
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Meanwhile, in same bowl, combine sugar and flour then mix well. Add eggs, stir with spoon until well blended.
Fold in apricots, then almonds. Pour evenly over partially bake crust.
Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven; gently brush with melted jam. Cool. Cut into bars when completely cooled. Store in refrigerator
