Grease large (12x18) cookie sheets and cover with nuts
Cook butter, sugar, Karo syrup, condensed milk & salt over
medium heat, stirring constantly, until it forms a firm ball in
cold water (about 1/2 hr from time it starts to boil). Add vanilla
& vinegar. Dribble over nuts and let it cool.
Melt chocolate bits over double boiler with hot, but not boiling
water, stirring occasionally. Do not cover and do not overheat.
