In small saucepan, make gravy according to package
directions; set aside. Brown the beef in a large
cast iron skillet for about 5-7 minutes; when no
longer pink, remove from heat, drain fat and set
aside.
On medium heat and using the same skillet, add
jalapenos, garlic, onions and carrot; saute about 5
minutes or until vegetables are softened. Stir in
peas and warm thru - about 3 minutes
Add cooked beef and gravy; stir to combine. Place
ground beef mixture into greased individual
casserole dish; cover with a layer of potatoes top
with cheese and sprinkle with smoked paprika.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes move rack to
broil position and broil for 2-3 minues or until
cheese gets golden brown. Remove from oven and let
rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
