     Rum Butter (Hard Sauce)

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3 Tbl maple syrup
1 Tbl powdered sugar
2Tbl dark rum
 

Instructions
Beat butter, syrup and powdered sugar until light and fluffy on medium speed of mixer. Stir in rum. Cover and refrigerate up to 1 week. Serve at room temperature. Makes 3/4 cup
