Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. Cream shortening, add sugar, honey, blend well. Beat egg until light and add to cream mixture. Add dry ingredients to shortening mixture, alternately with sour milk.
Put batter into medium size, greased cup cake pans, filling about 2/3 full. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 20-25 minutes. Remove cakes from pan and cool on wire racks. When cold frost with honey cheese frosting
