     Oriental Salad

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
2 packages Top-Raman (preferably oriental flavor), crush noodles and save packets for dressing
1 head of shredded cabbage (or less if cabbage is large), can also use bagged cabbage/cole slaw
1 cup slivered or sliced almonds
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup chopped green onion and/or celery
1 can mandarin oranges

1 cup Chinese noodles
2 grilled chicken breasts, cubed

Instructions
Mix dressing first- oil, vinegar, sugar, and oriental seasoning packets. Pour over all other ingredients in a large bowl, mix, and serve immediately.
The recipe I have actually doesn't call for chicken but it makes the salad more filling. I don't think I have ever added the Chinese noodles probably because I've just forgotten to buy them.
I don't think this tastes nearly as good the next day so you only want to make what you can eat right away.
