1/4 cup flour
|

A dash of salt
|

1/2 cup shortening
|

1 stick margarine
|

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions |

|
|
Cook milk, flour and salt over low flame to pudding stage, stirring continuously. Cool in refrigerator.

Cream the shortening, margarine and sugar until fluffy; add vanilla.
|
|
|
|
Blend in pudding, beating well until it looks like whipped cream.
|
|
|
|
Spread on cake when cooled.
|
