3 egg yolks (If you're having an egg white omelet for breakfast, save these for dessert)

1/2 - 3/4 c. white sugar (or less) amount depends on variation

1/3 c. flour
|
|
1/4 tsp. salt
|
|
2 c. milk
|
|
1-2 Tbsp. butter
|
|
1 tsp. vanilla
|
|
Vanilla- as is using only 1/2 c. (or less) sugar
|
|
|
|
Chocolate- Add 2 oz. squares unsweetened chocolate and 3/4 c. (or less) sugar
|
|
Banana- Fold in 3 sliced bananas
|
|
Butterscotch- Substitute brown sugar for white sugar & increase butter to 3 T.

|
Coconut- Add 1 c. flaked coconut
|
|
Chocolate chips- semi-sweet or milk chocolate for vanilla
|
|
Peanut butter chips for chocolate
|
