Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a blender , process half & half, eggs, vanilla & 2 tbsp of butter until smooth. Blend in flour, salt, & 1/4 tsp cinnamon.
In a 10 in skillet (non stick is best) mix remaining butter, cinnamon, brown sugar & lemon juice. Bring to a boil over med-high heat, stirring often. Stir in apples, reduce heat to low & simmer, stirring often, until apples are tender & liquid thickened, aprox 7-10 min.
Pour batter from blender over apple mixture. bake in oven until set & top is golden, 25-30 min. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

You can add walnuts if you'd like before putting in oven sprinkle over top.
