     Stuffed Bacon Rolls

Servings   20 to 22 appetizers

Ingredients
1/4 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 cups soft bread crumbs, about 3 slices
1 cup Granny Smith apple, finely chopped
1 tbsp onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp parsley, snipped
Salt and pepper to taste
10 or 11 slices bacon
 

Instructions
In mixing bowl, combine milk and egg. Add bread crumbs, apple, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper; mix well. Cut each slice of bacon in half crosswise. Shape crumb mixture into balls, using one rounded tablespoon for each. Wrap each ball in bacon slice; secure with wooden pick. Place on wire rack set in 15x10-inch baking pan. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until bacon is brown.
