Heat oven to 350. Mix dry ingredients together first. Add liquids, stir until blended. Spread in ungreased 8 inch pan.
Pudding mixture- Mix well, 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa with a dash of salt. Sprinkle this over cake batter.
Pour 1 1/3 cup boiling water over pudding mixture. DO NOT STIR Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes or until center is set and firm to touch. Serve warm with ice cream.
