     Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

Ingredients
2 cups cooked rice
2 1/2 cups jilk
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbl butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins, optional
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450. In medium pan heat milk and cooked rice for 10 minutes. DO NOT BOIL Remove from heat, add eggs, sugar, and vinilla. Stir well.
Pour mix in baking dish and dot with butter. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Set dish in ovenproof pan of hot water. Bake 20 minutes. Lower heat to 300 and bake another 15-20 minutes, until custard-like firm.
