     Chicken Noodle Soup

1 chicken, 3 lbs
1 16 oz pkg narrow noodles
3 cups carrots, sliced
2 cups celery, sliced
1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 Tbl salt
2 1/2 gallons water
4 pkgs. Lipton dry chicken soup mix,

Combine chicken, carrots, celery, salt, onion and water. Cook until chicken is done. Remove chicken, take off bones. Cut up meat and add to soup.
Add soup mix and dry noodles the last 30 minutes of cooking time. Simmer, do not boil after you add the noodles.
