     Whoopie pies

Ingredients
1/3 C shortening (Crisco)
1C sugar
1 egg
1C milk (2% or whole)
2C flour
1 1/2 C tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/3 C baking cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
 
FILLING-
1/2 C shortening
1/2 C marshmallow FLUFF
3/4 confectioners sugar
1/4 C milk (2% or whole)
Instructions
Cream shortening and sugar Add egg and milk Blend in dry ingredients Add vanilla
Drop by rounded tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes Let cool remove to wire rack
Serving Suggestions
wrap individually in wax paper
