Cream butter, add sugars and cream til fluffy. Mis the egg with
the 3 yolks and add to the butter mix. Add the t of baking soda
to the milk mix; add it all to the butter. Add vanilla. Stir in flour
and mace. Beat whites til soft peaks form. Add the brown sugar
(1 cup) and spread over the battter in 2 9 inch square pans. Bake
at 325 for 25 mins.
