In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, creme of tartar and salt. Cut
in Crisco until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk, stir till
blended.
Transfer dough to lightly floured surface. Knead lightly, 8 to 10
times. Roll dough to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with floured cutter.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 425 degrees for 12 to 15
minutes. Makes 12 biscuits.
