     Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
2 cups dried elbow macaroni
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 TBSP butter
2 TBSP flour
1/8 Tsp black pepper
2 1/2 cup of milk
1 1/2 cups of American cheese (6 ounces)
1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese (6 ounces)
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
 

Instructions
Cook macaroni according to package directions
Meanwhile, for cheese sauce, in a mmedium saucepan cook ionion in hot butter until tender but not brown. Stir in flour and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened and bubbly. Add cheese, stirring until melted. Stir in cooked macaroni. Tranfer mix to a 2-quart casserole. Top with bread crumbs.
Bake, uncovered in a 350 degree over for 25 to 30 min or until bubbly and heated through. Let it stand for 10 min. before serving.
