     Gingerbread Boys

Ingredients
1/2 cup oleo
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
2 tsp hot water
1 egg
1/2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
 
3 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
Stir flour into egg and sugar, let stand for 10 minutes
Roll out on floured board and cut cookies
Put on face and buttons
Put cookies on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes (5 minutes on lower rack and 5 minutes on top rack)
