Discard stems from spinach if present. Wash and drain well.
Cut tomatoes in half and discard seeds and membranes. Dice tomatoes.
Heat large skillet on high heat. Add butter, tomatoes and garlic. Cook for about 10 to 15 seconds. The tomatoes will continue to cook later so its okay if they are not cooked all the way.
Add spinach, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Stir until spinach wilts.
Serve immediately.
