1 - 8oz container whipped cream cheese with chives
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup dry white wine (optional)
Instructions
lightly butter a 3 quart baking dish - in a large frying pan, melt the 3 tbsp butter with 1/2 the package of dry salad dressing mix - cook chicken over medium heat until browned on both sides - transfer chicken to baking dish
stir cream cheese, soup, wine and remaining dry salad dressing mix into drippings in frying pan - stir to mix well - pour over chicken - bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees until sauce is thick and bubbly - about 40-45 minutes
