1 pkg yellow cake mix (could also use white, lemon, devil's food, German chocolate)
3 cups oatmeal
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 oz) pkg chocolate chips
Spray jelly roll pan. Melt butter in a large bowl, mix with egg, cake mix,and oatmeal. Press 2/3 of mixture into pan. Poor condensed milk over cake mixture. Top with chocolate chips and then the reserved cake mixture.
Bake 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until edge is golden brown and edges are bubbly. Let cool 30 min. before cutting.
