Melt butter in a 9x13 pan. Sift together flour, 1 c sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and flavorings. Pour over melted butter. Mix peaches and remaining 1 c sugar and place over batter. Do not stir them in.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
