     German Chocolate Pie

Ingredients
4 oz. sugar
2 tb cornstarch
1 tb flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cup milk
4 egg yolk
4 oz. chopped chocolate
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 shredded coconut
 
2/3 chopped pecans
For Chocolate Crumb Crust
1 1/2 cup crumbled baked chocolate cookie dough
3 oz. melted butter
1 tb sugar

Instructions
Prebake the chocolate Crumb Crust in a 9 inch pan by mixing together the cookie dough, butter and sugar until moist. Press into the 9 inch pan and bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.
For the filling, combine in a sauce pan, sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt. Pour the milk into the saucepan over the dry ingredients. Heat, stirring continuously, until mixture is hot and thick. Temper yolks with some milk. Add yolk mix into the milk mix, whisking constantly. Cook until thick. Remove from heat.
Stir in the chocolate mixture into the baked crumb crust shell. Cover surface with plastic wrap and chill for 3 hours. Decorate with toasted shredded coconut and pecans, as well as whipped cream to top of pie.
