     Grandma Jane’s Christmas Quiche (Sausage and Egg)

Ingredients
1 pkg. seasoned croutons (preferably Ranch flavor)
1 ˝ lbs pork sausage
9 eggs beaten
3 cups milk
1 ˝ cups or 6 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1 diced onion
 

Instructions
Grease or spray a 9X13 baking dish. Dump croutons in the dish.
Cook the sausage separately in a frying pan, crumble and drain. Add sausage to the croutons in the baking dish. Top with cheese.
In a separate dish mix eggs, milk, and salt. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the sausage, croutons, and cheese.
Refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until set.
