     Brisket of Beef Marguerite

Ingredients
2 t salt
3 T brown sugar
1 c chili sauce or catsup
1 c vinegar
2 t seasoning salt
5 lb brisket
2 sliced onions
 

Instructions
Roast 450 about 20 min til brown then add sauce. Let stand overnight. Place in pan and add onions. Roast covered and foiled at 325 for 5 hrs til tender while basting. Can be prepared ahead. When ready to serve, slice and reheat in drippings that have been defatted.
