Ingredients
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 tsp ground ginger
 
3/4 cup finely crushed saltine cracker crumbs
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 5x9 loaf pan.
Mix together brown sugar and ketchup and set aside.
In mixing bowl, mix thoroughly all remaining ingredients and shape into a loaf. Place in loaf pan. Pour brown sugar/ketchup mix on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until juices are clear.
