     Irish Soda Bread

Ingredients
2 cups of all purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup golden raisins
2 tablespoons caraway seeds
1 1/2 cups nonfat plain yogurt
1 large egg, beaten
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt into a bwol. Ad the raisins and caraway seeds and mix well.
Combine yogurt, eg and butter. Add to the dry ingredients and using a woodspoon, combine until just mixed.
Form the dough into a disk about 6 inches across (about 2 1/2 inches thick in the center, dusting with more flour if too sticky. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Using a sharp knife, cut an X on the surface.
bake until golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when the bottom is tapped. About 50 minutes.
