     Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes with Cinnamon Butter Cream

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/3 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup unsalted butter
 
1/2 cup milk
1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups fresh pumpkin puree
4 large eggs

Instructions
Icing 2 sticks unsalted butter 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar 2 tsp milk 1 pinch salt 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 regular size cupcake pans with cupcake liners. In a large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients EXCEPT SUGAR. Set the bowl aside. In a large bowl using an electric mixer on low speed, combine butter, sugar, milk, vanilla extract and pumpkin puree. Add the eggs 1 at a time. Mix on low until combined.
Gradually add the flour mixture until just combined. Fill the cupcake liners three quarters full with batter and bake until the cupcakes spring back when touched with your finger, about 20 minutes.
To make the icing- cream butter and sugar 1-2 minutes or until fluffy. Add salt, cinnamon and milk until creamy.
