     Slow Cooker Italian Meatball Subs

Ingredients
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 cup Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 T. fresh Parsley, minced
1 clove Garlic, minced
1/2 cup Milk
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
 
8 Hot Dog Buns, split
SAUCE
28 oz. can Tomato Puree
28 oz. can Italian style Crushed Tomatoes
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
(2) 1 1/2 oz. pkg. Spaghetti Sauce Mix
Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions
Combine first 9 ingredients in large bowl; mix well. Form into 2 inch balls and place in slow cooker; pour sauce over top.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8-10 hours, or on high 4-6 hours.
To serve, place 3-4 meatballs on bun; top with sauce from slow cooker.
SAUCE- Mix all sauce ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until blended.
