     Slow Cooker Sage Dressing

Ingredients
1 cup Butter
2 onions, chopped
4 stalks Celery, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
12 - 13 cups day old bread, cubed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 1/2 tsp. dried Sage
1 tsp. Poultry Seasoning
 
1 tsp. Dried Thyme
3 cup Chicken Broth
2 Eggs, beaten

Instructions
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Saute onions, celery and parsley; pour over bread crumbs in a large mixing bowl. Add seasonings and toss together. Pour broth over bread and toss again; add eggs and mix.
Pack lightly in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high setting for 45 minutes. Reduce setting to low and cook for 4-6 hours.
Check after 2 hours; add more broth if a moister stuffing is preferred.
