In an 8 X 8 inch dish melt 1 tbsp butter in microwave and spread around and up sides of dish. Evenly spread crushed graham crackers on bottom of dish. Combine 1/2 cup butter and brown sugar in small bowl and nuke at high for 1 minute. Beat until smooth. Microwave 2 minutes. Pour over crackers and spread carefully. Sprinkle with nuts. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes or until mixture boils. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. When soft, spread to frost.
