Place in a blender the basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic and salt. Mix at high speed. When evenly blended, pour into a bowl. Blend in the two cheeses evenly throughout. Blend in the softened butter.
Add a spoon of the boiling water from the pasta and mix in then spoon over the pasta.
