Take Ginger, Garlic, Cinnamon, cloves, whole red chillies and grind them with water into a paste.
Melt butter in the pot add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and fry for a minute. Then add onion, slit green chillies, turmeric powder and the ground masala paste fry for another 2 minutes. Add mint, coriander leaves, chicken and salt and fry for 15 minutes. Cover and cook until chicken is half done. Check in between to ensure enough water is present.
Add coconut milk and water (12 cups – 2 cups liquid to 1 cup rice) bring to boil then add washed rice and add butter 2 tablespoons
Bring it boil. Remove and place in the oven (pre heated to 350 degrees). Check in about 15 minutes.
