1 12oz package prunes coarsely chopped about 2 cups
2 cups shredded apples
1 cup chopped nuts
in large bowl, beat sugar, oil eggs for two minutes with electric mixer at meduim speed. in another bowl combine dry ingrediants, gradually mix into egg mixture. mix in prunes, apples, and nuts at low speed to blend throughly.
spoon into buttered and floured 10 inch tube pan. smooth top. bake at 325 for 1 and 1/2 hours until springy to the touch and pick inserted in center comes out clean. cool in pan for 15 minutes. invert onto rack to cool completly. place on serving plate and dust with powdered sugar.
