Mix together oil, sugar and eggs. In separate bowl mix flour, salt, soda & nutmeg. Combine and mix into the eggs & oil mixture. Mix well. Add the apples and the nuts. Mix well.
Turn into a greased and floured tube pan or bundt pan. BAke at 325 for approx 1 hour until toothpick inserted in the cneter comes out clean.
Cool in the pan a few minutes then turn out onto a cake plate.
No frosting needed. It is moist and delicious.
